The Jacksonville Jaguars have had no discussions about a contract extension with Maurice Jones-Drew, according to the Florida Times-Union.
Jones-Drew currently has two years remaining on a five-year, $31 million deal he signed in 2009. He is still owed $9.4 million on that deal. There has been speculation, however, that Jones-Drew would like to rework his deal prior to the 2012 season.
The Jaguars running back has not reported to a voluntary offseason workout program, however neither Jones-Drew nor his agent has indicated that he is holding out for a deal.
Last season the 27-year-old led the NFL in rushing with 1,606 yards. He also recorded eight touchdowns on the ground and three through the air.
